 This March Bible reading plan is created especially for anyone who feels misunderstood, emotionally burdened, unfairly treated, or trapped in a difficult situation. With just 10–15 minutes of daily reading, we will continue listening to Job’s honest words from the heart of suffering, the psalmists’ anguished prayers amid injustice and persecution, and the sorrow recorded in Lamentations. We will then journey through the wilderness and see how God leads His people forward when no clear way seems to remain. Begin your March devotional journey today.

Welcome to March!

In the journey of faith and everyday life, we will sometimes pass through dark seasons when we feel misunderstood, wounded, unfairly treated, or uncertain about the road ahead. This month’s reading journey invites us to speak honestly before God.

The March reading plan unfolds through four deeply personal stages:

• Job Speaks from the Depths of His Heart (March 1–5): Job no longer tries to appear strong. He pours out his pain, confusion, loneliness, and sense of abandonment before God. In Job 19, he declares, “I know that my redeemer liveth.” God does not condemn Job simply because he struggles, questions, or grieves. His story encourages us to bring our most honest selves before the Lord.

• Psalms of Crying Out amid Hardship and Injustice (March 6–25): We will read twenty consecutive psalms of prayer. Whether the struggle involves a sleepless night in Psalm 4, betrayal by a trusted friend in Psalm 55, or being attacked without cause in Psalm 35, the psalmists show us how to turn anger, hurt, fear, and anxiety into prayer. Instead of carrying the burden of judgment alone, they place their cause into God’s hands.

• Lament from a Broken Place (March 26–27): We will enter the sorrow of Lamentations. God allowed an entire biblical book to preserve grief, devastation, and tears because He fully understands the pain carried within the human heart.

• Guidance and a Way Forward in the Wilderness (March 28–31): We will revisit God’s deliverance at the Red Sea and then enter Numbers and Deuteronomy to consider the spies’ report and Israel’s wilderness journey. These passages remind us not to lose sight of God when we are surrounded by obstacles, uncertainty, and seemingly impossible challenges.

You do not need to hide the wounds within your heart. Lay your burdens, disappointments, and unanswered questions openly before God. He hears every sigh that rises from the depths.

• My Redeemer Liveth: Discover a hope greater than present suffering as Job declares his faith while surrounded by isolation, rejection, and overwhelming pain in Job 19.

• Releasing the Burden of Injustice: Learn from the psalmists how to place anger, trauma, false accusations, and persecution into God’s hands rather than carrying them alone, especially in Psalms 35 and 55.

• Crossing Life’s Wilderness: Recover faith and courage when difficulties appear as giants and the path ahead feels uncertain, as seen in Numbers 13–14.

💡 Suggestions for Your March Devotional Journey:

1. Practice releasing your burden:
   When you read Psalm 55:22 on March 17—“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee”—try using a simple physical gesture during prayer. Open your hands and imagine placing the heavy situation into God’s care.

2. Receive the gift of rest at night:
   When you read Psalm 4:8 on March 7, reflect on the verse before going to sleep. Entrust the day’s worries to God and allow yourself to rest safely in His care:
   “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.”

3. Change the way you see your difficulties:
   As you read Numbers 13–14 on March 29 and 30, remind yourself that although your difficulties may appear as giants, your God is greater than every circumstance standing before you.
