You may follow the calendar dates in the plan, or you may read at your own pace, beginning with Day 1 and continuing one day at a time.
If you are not starting on January 1, that is completely fine. This plan can begin on any day. The most important thing is to keep coming back to God’s Word and allowing His Word to slowly sustain, comfort, heal, and renew your heart.
Each day includes a clear daily theme to help you understand the focus of that day’s reading.
These themes will guide you to think step by step about questions such as:
How does God comfort those who are grieving?
How does He walk with the lonely?
How can we experience peace in anxiety and fear?
How can we learn to trust while waiting?
How can we see hope in brokenness?
How can we learn to comfort and care for others?
Each day, read the Bible passage listed in the schedule.
The passages are arranged to help you receive God’s Word directly from Scripture, instead of relying only on human comfort. God’s Word can enter the deepest places of the heart and bring support, light, hope, and strength.
When the daily reading pages are completed, you will be able to click the link in the plan and enter that day’s full reading content.
Each daily page will provide the Scripture passage, thematic reflection, customized prayer, application response, and related worship or Bible verse resources. These daily resources are designed to help you not only read the Bible, but also think more deeply, pray, and respond to God’s Word.
The devotional category helps you see the overall direction of the yearlong reading journey.
Examples include: comfort in sorrow, God’s presence in loneliness, prayer in tears, peace in anxiety and fear, hope in waiting, support in illness and weakness, restoration after loss and brokenness, forgiveness and reconciliation in broken relationships, the compassion of Christ, eternal hope, learning to comfort and care for others, and the heart and boundaries of a caregiver.
The daily theme helps you understand the main focus of that day’s reading.
Each day is not chosen randomly. The readings are arranged around comfort, hope, healing, trust, prayer, companionship, care, and service.
The Bible passage is the Scripture reading for that day.
These passages help you hear God’s comfort in His Word and learn how to support others with His Word.
The daily reading page link will take you to the complete content for that day.
On each daily page, you can continue reading the introduction, reflection, prayer, and application question, helping you bring that day’s Scripture into prayer and daily life.
If you are experiencing sorrow, pain, loss, loneliness, or a difficult season, you can read slowly. There is no need to rush.
Sometimes one verse, one prayer, or one reminder is enough to give you strength to take the next step today.
If you are waiting for healing, an answer, the restoration of a relationship, a change in circumstances, or God’s guidance, this plan can help you keep looking to the Lord while you wait.
Waiting on God is not giving up. It is holding on to His promises even when you cannot yet see the way forward.
If you are weak in body, emotion, or spirit, you can read according to your strength.
You do not need to appear strong. God knows your limits, and He is willing to sustain you in weakness.
If you are a care ministry coworker, small group leader, visitor, companion, or prayer partner, you can use this plan to learn from Scripture how to comfort others, accompany others, and pray for others.
You may also choose selected passages and read slowly together with someone who is suffering.
This plan is suitable for small groups, fellowships, care ministries, visitation ministries, prayer meetings, and church-wide use.
You may adapt the plan according to the rhythm of your group or church, using it for daily reading, weekly sharing, seasonal prayer, or practical care training.
You may also download the PDF version for printing, saving, sharing, or using in personal devotions, small groups, church care ministry, and visitation materials.

Begin today:
Choose Day 1 from the reading plan, or choose the date that matches today, and begin your Bible reading journey.
You do not need to become strong first, and you do not need to pretend that you are already okay. Simply come before God with an honest heart, and He will sustain you step by step through His Word.
May this 365-day Bible reading plan help you hear God’s comfort in sorrow, experience His presence in loneliness, receive peace in anxiety and fear, learn to trust again in waiting, and see the hope of restoration in brokenness.
May God also use your life to make you a gentle companion, intercessor, and caregiver for others.
