Life often brings seasons of intense pressure, where looming battles or uncertain steps forward leave us feeling anxious. In other moments, the ache comes from waiting—when God's promises seem delayed or humanly impossible.

This month, God’s Word envelops us with two steadying themes:

• Peace in Anxiety and Fear (4/1 – 4/26): Journey through Old Testament history, wisdom literature, major prophets, the Gospels, and the Epistles. Learn to hear God’s comfort when battle draws near, experience Jesus' compassionate touch, and find joy and peace even under heavy pressure: "Fear not, for God will uphold you."

• Hope and Trust in Waiting (4/27 – 4/30): Step into Genesis to walk alongside Abraham and Hagar. Discover how to step into the unknown by faith, re-anchor your soul when answers are delayed, and trust that God hears the cry of the cast out while working in His perfect timing.

Key Themes for the Month:

• Steadfast Peace in Troubled Times: God is our refuge in upheaval and light in darkness. You do not need to carry anxious thoughts—your Heavenly Father knows what you need and holds your future (Psalm 46, Isaiah 26, Matthew 6).

• The Compassionate Touch of Christ: Jesus reaches into our fear, sickness, and brokenness to restore us. Through His life, light, and love, we gain the strength to stand firm in suffering (Matthew 8, John 14, 1 Peter 5).

• God’s Faithful Timing in Waiting: When promises seem delayed or circumstances look impossible, God is still at work. He sees your journey and hears your voice in the wilderness (Genesis 15, Genesis 18, Genesis 21).
